The Fraternity, Theta Foundation, and Fraternity Housing Corporation offices will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 27, through Friday, Nov. 29, in recognition of the (U.S.) Thanksgiving Day holiday.
Life Loyal
Life Loyal is a special program for all members to continue their lifelong support of our Fraternity, while receiving exclusive benefits. Believing in the true worth and merit of Kappa Alpha Theta, Life Loyal members are helping to create ethical, social, and educational programs that develop members of integrity and character.
Why Join?
Life Loyal was created to honor and recognize the thousands of dedicated Thetas who have lived our ideals and who want better services for college and alumnae members. Currently, only Life Loyal members, current collegians, and alumnae who pay Fraternity per capita dues through an alumnae chapter, alumnae circle, or directly to the Fraternity receive all print issues of the magazine.
What's the Cost?
Theta Life Loyal is a one-time fee of $299 USD. Members who were initiated 50+ years ago receive a reduced rate of $189 USD. Payment is accepted by check or credit card.

When we were initiated into Kappa Alpha Theta, we became members for life, and that will never change. Life Loyal is an optional program for members who wish to further support Kappa Alpha Theta financially. Revenue from memberships in the program helps fund educational, communications, and personal development programs for our collegians and alumnae.

Life Loyal members do not pay annual alumnae dues to the Fraternity. When you become a Life Loyal member, you will receive these other valuable benefits:
- A beautifully crafted lapel pin;
- A personalized membership card confirming your Life Loyal status; and
- All printed issues of and recognition within the Kappa Alpha Theta Magazine.

The one-time cost of membership in Kappa Alpha Theta Life Loyal is $299 USD. Our 50-year plus members can join for a one-time cost of $189 USD. Life Loyal members do not pay annual alumnae dues to the Fraternity.

As a Life Loyal member, you will no longer be required to pay your yearly per alumnae capita dues to the Fraternity. This means that your chapter will provide a separate amount for you to pay that will go directly to your alumnae chapter, not to Fraternity headquarters. For example, if your annual chapter dues were $35 USD, you would be charged only $3 USD, which would go directly to your alumnae chapter to fund chapter operations.

Collegians will continue to receive the Kappa Alpha Theta Magazine at the permanent address they have on file with headquarters. Alumnae who do not wish to join Life Loyal may still receive all printed issues of the magazine by paying annual alumnae dues either individually or through an alumnae chapter. All Thetas may enjoy the free online version of the magazine at any time.

Life Loyal is a Fraternity program and is therefore not tax-deductible.

Members who do not join the Life Loyal program are no less valued. Whether through the gift of time, the gift of skills and expertise, or through financial gifts, we have found that members wish to give to Kappa Alpha Theta in a variety of ways. Kappa Alpha Theta Life Loyal simply provides another option for members.
