Chapter Beginnings
Eta Mu Chapter was installed at Occidental College in 2004. Founded in 1887, Occidental is one of the oldest liberal arts colleges on the West Coast. The beautiful campus—north of the center of Los Angeles—might be a familiar sight, even if you’ve never visited L.A. Its buildings are often featured in films and on television.

From the very beginning, Theta alumnae have distinguished themselves in their careers and their volunteer endeavors. In fact, some are so well-known that they’re household names, and many have the distinction of being the first women in their professional fields.
