The Spring 2021 issue of the Kappa Alpha Theta Magazine is our first printed and mailed issue since our celebratory sesquicentennial-themed Spring 2020 issue. While the Spring 2020 issue had much to look back and reflect upon, the Spring 2021 issue looks at the current state of our Fraternity as we get closer and closer to emerging from a global pandemic.
The “State of Kappa Alpha Theta” is the perfect description for this Spring 2021 issue. Fraternity President Mandy Wushinske, Zeta Sigma/Ohio Northern, recounts the past year in her own words in the Annual Report, and Theta’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Jeff Risser recounts the past year from his unique perspective that includes 20+ years of Theta headquarters finance staff experience in a special Profile titled “By the Numbers.” Staff Archivist Noraleen Young, Alpha Chi/Purdue, discusses our special relationship with National CASA/GAL, which adds up to more than 30 years of valuable partnership this year. And, we remember Thetas who passed away in 2020 in this issue’s In Memoriam.
The Spring 2021 issue is filling mailboxes through this week; we hope you’ll enjoy receiving the printed edition! As always, you can read the current issue, as well as past issues, on the Kappa Alpha Theta Magazine page of this website.
