The Spring 2020 issue of the Kappa Alpha Theta Magazine was intended to be unique: as part of Theta’s 150th anniversary year, our magazine would celebrate its own 135th anniversary. Through both our regular and special features, we’d take an in-depth look at the way it has preserved and presented Theta in print since 1885.
Then … the coronavirus. And the world changed.
After a great deal of careful thought, we decided not to substantially alter our content in light of the pandemic. As we went to press, so much about the future was still uncertain—with communities, states, and even countries still in various stages of lock-down—and we believed we wouldn’t be able to responsibly cover the effect of COVID-19 on individual Thetas or the organization as a whole at this time.
So the Spring 2020 issue remains largely as we envisioned it, from our striking retro-style front cover to our collage of front covers on the back. We hope receiving it will be a bright spot in your day. In addition, you can always read the current issue, as well as past issues, on the Magazine page of this website.
