Kappa Alpha Theta’s 35 Under 35 Award recognizes young alumnae (age 35 and under) for their outstanding accomplishments. This award, now in its fourth cycle, is presented in non-Grand Convention years.
Those who are selected for this award are chosen because of their dedication to improving lives and creating change in their professions and/or communities. This year, 95 nominations were reviewed by 36 previous 35 Under 35 Award recipients. I heard several times from reviewers about how difficult of a selection process it was because of the quality of candidates, and how honored they were to count themselves among the honorees.
This year’s winners excel in the areas of politics; philanthropy; education; business; diversity, equity, and inclusion; and health, among many others. These outstanding members are undoubtedly wonderful representatives of Kappa Alpha Theta and its values.
As a staff member, this is one of my favorite programs to oversee. I know you will be just as amazed and proud to count these Thetas among our membership as I am. Check out this year’s 35 Under 35 honorees!
