Thetas and the public are welcome to visit Theta headquarters and the Heritage Museum in Indianapolis, Ind.
The Heritage Museum at Theta headquarters reflects sorority and fraternity history in the U.S. and Canada as demonstrated by resources and artifacts from our archives.
Please contact us to schedule a visit. We welcome individual visitors as well as groups. For group visits, we ask that you contact us well in advance to ensure an enjoyable experience for all.
Theta headquarters, located at 8740 Founders Rd., is on the northwest side of Indianapolis, near I-465 and U.S. 421 (Michigan Rd.). We are 18 miles north of the Indianapolis Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis and accessible by car and transportation services.
Indianapolis has numerous museums including the world’s largest Children’s Museum, the Indiana State Museum, NCAA Hall of Champions, The Eiteljorg Museum of Western Art, and Newfields. Host to many conventions, there is something for everyone to do. For more information, contact Visit Indy.
Nearby communities of Zionsville, Noblesville, and Carmel provide many interesting opportunities to explore culinary experiences and offer bountiful shopping areas.
Schedule a TourKappa Alpha Theta was founded at DePauw University (then known as Indiana Asbury) in Greencastle, Indiana, about an hour west of Indianapolis, via westbound Interstate 70 and north IND 231. Thetas often walk the campus when visiting Greencastle.
We have created a walking/driving tour of the essential sites connected to Theta’s history. If you plan to visit the Alpha Chapter house, please reach out in advance. Remember, there may not be anyone available during the summer months or during school breaks.
